1. What discounts do you offer for children and does BERlinia provide a child with a suitable child seat?

Since the regulations and safety rules in the road transport are different from those in airlines and each passenger must have their own place (it is forbidden to carry children held by their parents) children do not travel by BERlinia free of charge. It results from the fact that a child takes one seat. (On planes according to the regulations children travel free of charge if they do not take a separate seat).
However, we offer a 70% discount for children under the age of 2 and at your special request we provide your child with a suitable child seat (free of charge). Still, you should inform us about it no later than 48 hours before departure, the best if you call us on the number of our Customer Service Office 0-91 433 4444 (8 a.m. –10 p.m.).

For children aged 2-7 we offer a 30% discount. If you need a child seat for a child above the age of 2, you should inform our Customer Service Office no later than 48 hours before scheduled departure, giving the exact age of the child. BERlinia cannot guarantee that such seats will be available for all the children.

If you do not inform the Customer Service Office about your demand for a child seat, you will have to provide such a seat on your own. It is required by the traffic regulations.

2. Why is it necessary to provide BERlinia with my personal details?
The personal details of our customers are necessary for the process of booking and registration. The passenger details are required in the licensed international transport. Such data at all times remain absolutely safe and they are not made available to third persons.

I do not have a credit card. Can I directly pay the driver on the day of departure?
We encourage our customers to pay as soon as possible. It is the most advisable to pay on-line because it is the cheapest. It is possible to pay the driver just before departure but in this case the ticket is the most expensive. You cannot make a booking in advance with the option “I will pay the driver”. The driver must issue a ticket, which takes some time. It also affects the price of a ticket.
What are the methods of payment for BERlinia tickets?

In order to fulfil your wishes, we have prepared 6 methods of payment:
- by a debit card on-line through the website
- with the use of so called “fast transfer” when you buy a ticket on-line – it applies to selected banks, for example, PKO BP, Multibank, MBank, Intelligo, BZ WBK.
- by a traditional money transfer or by payment into a bank account after you have made a booking on-line in our head office or at one of our agents. In this case, you have 3 days for delivering a confirmation of payment to the carrier’s office (in person, by fax, post or e-mail) but no later than 72 hours before departure.
 - in cash in our office or at our agency
- by a debit card in our office or at our agency
- in cash in PLN or Euro to our driver without the possibility of making an advance booking. However, we warn you that it is the most expensive form of buying a ticket, it is sometimes necessary if you have not made an advance booking.

3. How can I change the booking that I have already made and paid for?
Any changes can be made no later than 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure provided the original purchase exceeded PLN30. Every change of the time, date or passenger name entails paying the difference between the ticket price at the moment of purchase and the ticket price applicable at the time of making a change. If the new ticket is cheaper that the one which was bought before, the difference will not be refunded. Additionally, you should pay PLN20 of handling charges.
The changes can be made on-line after you log in "My berlinia" panel, enter your booking code and then select "changes" or in our Customer Service Office.

If you have any questions, please, use the e-mail contact form.

4. How can I receive a VAT invoice for the ticket I have bought?

In order to receive a VAT invoice, you should contact our Customer Service Office on +48 91 433 4444 during its opening hours 8:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m.

5. What does the price of a ticket depend on?

The general rule is: the sooner you buy a ticket, the less you pay.

Of course, there are many factors which affect the price of a ticket: time of the year, discounts for children, a discount for regular passengers, the distance from Szczecin (Schönefeld airport is farther from Szczecin than Tegel), special offers and the destination of your trip (it is cheaper to travel to the centre of Berlin than to the airport)

You certainly pay the least if you buy a ticket on-line, that is on the Internet, it is more expensive if you buy it in our office or from our agent, and you pay the most if you buy it directly from our driver just before departure.

The lowest prices do not apply during important sports events, concerts, trade fairs as well as holidays.

6. I do not have a credit card. Can I directly pay the driver on the day of departure?

We encourage our customers to pay as soon as possible. It is the most advisable to pay on-line because it is the cheapest. It is possible to pay the driver just before departure but in this case the ticket is the most expensive. You cannot make a booking in advance with the option "I will pay the driver". The driver must issue a ticket, which takes some time. It also affects the price of a ticket.

7. What happens if the arrival is delayed? Do I lose my ticket?
It may happen that the landing of a plane will be delayed which is not our fault and the coach will leave earlier.
If the arrival is delayed, the ticket remains valid within 8 hours from the scheduled time of the coach departure. The passenger has a right to travel by the next possible coach as there are free seats available on it. For example, if the coach on which you have booked a seat has departed from Tegel airport at 1:30 p.m., your ticket is valid for any transfer until 8:00 p.m. if the arrival has been delayed because of you.
After 8 hours the ticket expires and the only thing you can do is to buy another ticket from our driver.
